The Hennessey Venom F5 is the unofficial leader of the speed since its top speed is not yet confirmed with Guinness. The initial version of Hennessey Venom F5 clocked in 2014 a top speed of 271 mph. Hennessey incorporated changes like a chassis made from carbon fiber weighing 2950 pounds and a 7.4-liter twin turbo V8 engine producing 1600hp made it capable of a top speed of 301 mph smashing its own and other cars records by a wide margin.
